Our aim is to help your children to develop their wide ranging talents and abilities to the full. We wish to see attitudes and skills developed which will enable all children to take their place as effective, competent members of society. We feel the fulfilment of each child's educational potential is vital. This enables them to make choices for the future and take their place successfully in the wider community. To ensure that this happens, school and home must work closely together, for learning does not stop once the school day ends. To this end all year groups have a programme of work which involves home support. |
|
Another key area is a child's attitude to others. This is formed by the example of the adults in the child's life. It is imperative that those adults set the standard and ensure that children develop respect for all members of their community, both in and out of school. If this is achieved the children will be able to work together happily and approach the relevant learning situations with enthusiasm and readiness.

Our school will do all it can to equip your child with the academic and social skills required by our society. We hope the partnership between home and school will be a mutually supportive one, in which the children see us working together.
If
you have a problem, don't discuss it at the gate, come in and talk to
us. If things go well, come in and tell us. Everyone requires
encouragement in their work. Teachers are no exception. They need to
feel valued and your appreciation will encourage them to stay and give
their all for all the children in their care

As Head Teacher I will be direct and open with you and I hope you will respond in like manner. With an open, caring, partnership established between school and home I am confident we can all enjoy our seven years together and the children will fulfil their potential.
Yours sincerely
MICHAEL HARRIS
HEAD TEACHER
